For the second assignment I have chosen the song 'Give In' by Tunes Of I; A Wellington based band that I have had the privilege of working with in the past.
Born out of the NZ school of music, Tunes Of I are a 7 piece dub/roots/soul ensemble that formed in 2011 and have picked up several awards since then. The band secured a $10,000 video and recording grant after winning on NZ's music voting website The Audience, resulting in their first official music video for the song 'Give In'.
I was fortunate enough to design their EP album along with several posters and various other promotional material surrounding it and have since watch the band grow and develop into an original and dynamic presence within New Zealand music.
